2016 Co-Organizer of the “Trade Before Civilization Conference” held on May

symposium addressed the role that long distance exchange played in the

advent and maintenance of social complexity cross-culturally.

indigenous groups served at the health care facility.

supervising of programs aimed at improving the quality of life of York

present Project Anthropologist for the Catawba-Anthropology Outreach Program.

Responsibilities include recruiting young Native Americans towards the

field of Anthropology by means of exposing participants to cutting edge

ethnographic and/or archaeological research. Program conducted in

collaboration with the Catawba Nation’s tribal historian: Dr. Brooke Bauer.

1995-15 Founder of the Alto Corrientes Health Care Fund. A nonprofit

anthropological humanitarian organization created in conjunction with the

Marshall University’s School of Medicine, West Virginia and the Hospital

Voz Andes del Oriente, Ecuador. The Fund was designed to help the

Achuar people of the Ecuadorian Amazon meet some of their health care

needs.
