  10. 10. 10 | P a g e E. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The members are designed within the permissible limits and found OK. Also, deflections of all the members are found to be within the allowable limits. Hence, it may be concluded that the structural analysis and design of the structure is carried out in compliance with the Specifications for Civil/Structural Design and is found to be adequate from strength and serviceability point of view.

Since there were no Horizontal loads from the equipment supplier, 20% of Vertical loads have been considered during analysis of the structure. Wind Load: Site Location: MOROCCO Basic Wind Speed (vb) at 10m height = 20 m/s Design Wind Speed (v) = vb x k1 x k2 k3 The factors considered are: Terrain Category = 1 Structure Class = A Risk Coefficient, k1 = 1.0 Topography k3 = 1.0 Factor k2 at a height of 10m = 1.05 Therefore, design wind pressure at 10m height = 0.6v2 = 0.3125 kN/m2

Reactions due to wind loads acting on equipments are taken as nodal loads on the supports on which the equipments rest. D. DEFLECTION CHECK Horizontal Deflection: Deflection check has been carried out at all tier levels using STAAD Analysis. Vertical deflection check has been done using STAAD analysis for all the beams. Refer Appendix-II for STAAD analysis. Vertical deflection is within the limit. Hence, safe.
