Global Technical Ltd has been at theforefront of the development of stand offtechnology for the detection of Narcotics,Explosives and Weapons.
The GT200 has been continually upgradedand improved during its lifetime and now isthe most reliable and advanced system of itstype. Many trace detection systems areavailable on the market today using outdatedtechnology in an attempt to match theeffectiveness of the GT200.
Two test reports are available that confirmthe effectiveness of our technology. One isfrom the British Army and relates to thesearch of explosives. The report confirms thetechnology is ideally suited to stand offdetection of explosives. This is an importantreference from the Royal Engineers who arethe foremost authority in the UK for explosivessearch and disposal, having gained experiencefrom the troubles in Northern Ireland andoperations around the world.
The second report is from theNetherlands Ministry of Defence relatingto the East Caribbean Task Forceoperations for narcotic interdiction. Thereport details the effectiveness of thesystem in sea and air operations.
The system has been developed to allow thesearch of large areas and reduce them tosmall locations that can then be searchedwith existing technologies such as the canine.The GT200 allows for all types of drugs orexplosives to be searched for in oneoperation, unlike our competitors who have tomake the search a number of times todetermine the substance.
The system is in use in 25 countries world wide.

Vehicle Check points
The GT200 allows for the successfulscreening of every vehicle coming throughthe VCP, eliminating the requirement forrandom selection. The substances can bedetected even if it is transported in oil/petrol or perishable goods such as fish.Lorries, cars and public transport can bescreened in seconds.
Ports Control
With the advent of the new rules forscreening containers at ports, authoritiesare struggling to screen the requiredamount and often funds are restricted toallow the purchase of sufficient containersearch systems, but by using the GT200 allcontainers and goods entering or exiting theport can be screened in seconds for nuclear,explosive and narcotic materials. TheGT200 can identify the location within thecontainers without having to break thecustoms seal as well as being used forgeneral port security operations.
Open Area
The GT200 allows for area reduction whenconducting large area searches in opencountry and mountainous terrain, reducingthe overall search time and focusing only onthose indicated locations. Buried armscaches, narcotics stores and undergroundtunnel systems can be detected fromdistances of over 500m.

Air Operations
Using the GT200 from the air enables RapidReaction Forces to respond immediately tointelligence or the result of an airbornesearch. By combining the ammunition,explosives and human sensor cards we canscan jungle canopies in the search forterrorist training camps or drug factories.In addition, by programming the unitcorrectly, we can search and detect poppy,cocoa and marijuana planting areas.
Naval operations
The GT200 is extremely effective for longrange screening of sea vessels as well ascoastline operations. The system can beused from the helicopter in the initial searchand confirmed with the use of thecoastguard vessel. It will detect thesubstances in any disguise of packagingeven if it is in the water under the vessel orbeing towed behind. The GT200 is used for searching coastlinesfor buried narcotics and weaponsshipments. It will allow detection down to aminimum of 15m in the sea or land.The GT200 will detect submersibles.
Building Search
Intelligence can be confirmed without havingto enter a building and compromise theoperation. Warehouses can be searchedfrom some distance away without theknowledge of the owners. Any thickness ofwall can be penetrated, whether concrete,metal, brick or lead.
