ARCTEL-CPLP main achievements in 2013 • On April 9 2013 ARCTEL-CPLP was constituted as an
Association of Private Law and at the GA last April approved the budget for 2014.

• Roaming Working Group
- A Memorandum of Understanding was elaborated and sent to the Regulators and Operators;
- Next step will be to involve governments (ARCTEL as CPLP advisory member);
- Set up of a list of regulatory principles and best practices.
Other activities
• Creation of ARCTEL Training Center
Following its constitution ARCTEL has established protocols with several Training Entities and Universities.
• On March 2014 ARCTEL Training Center promoted the first training : the 5 Days Accelerated MBA, a partnership between VdAcademy and Porto Business School.

Projects and Activities currently underway
• ARCTEL is implementing a Project promoted by the African Development Bank, to support São Tomé NRA.
• ARCTEL is in the process to become Advisory Member for CPLP in July.
• Development of a comprehensive study on ARCTEL Member countries regulatory legislation.
On going
ARCTEL activities and participations to be held in the near future
• Study on Universal Service with ITU;
• Seminar on Content Production, to be hosted by ANAC in Cape Verd;
• Macau may become ARCTEL member;
