I have researched a few different regional magazine websites and the main codes and conventions that are used are: Masthead which is the same as on the magazine; font and colour. There is a larger main section which includes the main features of the latest

issue Adverts which will generate the magazine’s revenue Social media links which lets the target audience interact with the company Font which tends to be ‘sans serif’ which is easy to read and usually corresponds

with the font in the magazine. Web links which will send the target audience to various pages Offers/competitions which will provide the audience with discounts and the

chance to win prizes.
