Quilter’s Guild of Dallas 2020 Retreat
January 16-20, 2020 The Retreat will be held Thursday, January 16 through Monday, January 20, 2020. You will have the option of one, two, three, four or five days of sewing, talking, eating and relaxing. The rates are based on the number of nights you stay and how many are in your room. The Retreat will once again be held at Tanglewood Resort. Things to know:
x There are no rooms with 3 beds. If you request a triple or quad occupancy room, you will have a room with two queen-size beds.
x Everyone in a given room must pay/be present for the same number of nights.
x Three meals are included per night stay. We are required to provide a count for every meal so you
must tell us the first and last meal of your stay. If the first meal of your stay is lunch, then your last meal will be breakfast. Please keep this in mind when filling out your form as we cannot accommodate last minute meal changes.
Early Arrival: You may arrive on Wednesday January 15 if you like but must book your own room through the hotel. They are offering a special room rate of $88 plus hotel fees/taxes. The first meal served at retreat is Thursday lunch. Please note that under no circumstance will you have access to the ballroom prior to Thursday morning at 8am. Cancellation Policy: Due to changes in our contract with the resort, we cannot guarantee a refund of your payment if you cancel after Thursday, December 5, 2019. Individual Sales/Garage Sale Items: Please do not bring items to sell. We will have a table for giveaway items but the items must be quilting related. Non-Member Fee: You do not have to be a member of the guild to attend our retreat – feel free to invite your quilty friends that are not members. However, we do charge a small fee of $10 to non-members to help offset the cost of retreat supplies that are underwritten by member dues. If you have any questions or need more information about the retreat, please feel free to contact one of the retreat committee members. We hope that you’ll join us this year – it’s always a great time to finish up those show quilts while socializing with other quilty folks.
