“You many not know his name, but if you’re a movie fan you’ll certainly know his music: Simon Boswell is one of the UK’s finest living soundtrack composers, whose work has graced films such as Danny Boyle’s debut ‘Shallow Grave’, Alejandro Jodorowsky’s mind-melting ‘Santa Sangre’, loopy Angelina Jolie cybercrime flick ‘Hackers’ and shedloads of European horror movies by the likes of Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava and Michele Soavi.” TIME OUT: LONDON
Simon has collaborated with musicians from bands including Blur, Orbital, The Sex Pistols and Echo & the Bunnymen. Both BAFTA and BRIT Award nominated, his prolific Film, TV, Video Games career stretches back to 1985. In 2015 Simon will be celebrating 30 years as composer.
In celebration of Simon Boswell’s 30th Anniversary & over 100 original sound tracks, Simon has created theAnd. To perform and explore LIVE his Film, TV & Video Game musical art. It’s an immersive, electronic, psychedelic sound and vision journey, curated & mixed by visual-motion artist David Altweger (Sagberg, Kele). The band line up comprises of Jacko Peake (Paul Weller Band) on sax, flute and viola and the sultry Lola Gunn (Pop Cult Artist) on vocals, synths, percussion and electronic phase-morph reality bend computer.
