Why did I choose this brief?I decided I wanted to make a music video due to my love of not only film, but also music. I also decided to choose this brief because I am interested in showing a story and emotions through the use of combining music and film.

It also will require different skills such as fitting the two different aspects of media together so that they flow well withy each other. For example picking shots to match the timing of the piece of music.LocationMy ideal location would be a rundown family building, slowly falling apart and decaying like the relationship and the female included in my piece. If not decaying, my ideal location would be an isolated house cut off from all human contact to make my piece feel more intense due to the seclusion.Some examples include:

ContentI will be making my music video to the song: Change (in the house of flies)~deftonesThe piece will be focussed on a teenage girl coated in a metallic green/turquoise paint who possesses fairy wingsIn the song, the artist sings about the wings being pulled off, to me this represented a loss of freedomTherefore, the piece will be centred around this girl being in a abusive relationship and the partner ripping off the fairy wings, denying her of her freedom.

Who will my piece be aimed at?My piece will be rated a 15 due to the slight seductive and creepy nature of the piece not being appropriate for younger audiences and also due to the slight blood after her wings have been removed.
