Lyrics Page 1 She said oh my, I don't know why
I was just busy watching everyone go byOutside the shite bar, and you're a red carMe and your girlfriend and your sister with the big scar
I said oh Christ, I told you twiceIt's just not easy going through all these things thriceWhat's this I once heard? You drive a bluebird? You got no money for the petrol, that's what I heard
And it's all right, she'll be sucking fingers all nightWearing those shoes, oh any excuse to go to the gang fightAnd oh she's alright, everybody says she's uptightSick in the head, first in the bedSo easy to be Friday's nightmare
I said oh no, oh please just goYou got no eyelids and sweet ella loves me soShe got my number, though I can't stand herI can't help diggin her a hope I guess I wonderAnd oh it's clear, you want me dearIt would be easier if I was never hereYou got the money, and I got the reason,I'll stick around with you for just another season
Lyrics Page 2And it's alright, she'll be sucking fingers all nightWearing those shoes, oh any excuse to go to the gang fightAnd oh she's alright, everybody says she's uptightSick in the head, first in the bedSo easy to be Friday's nightmare
She's just getting along,So don't tell me she's yoursOh please tell me I'm wrong againIt's all in a daze/day,So what can you sayJust; sleep in yer shoesWith the winterbox bluesAny time you choose, Oh yeah

Narrative Ideas
A girl who is a productive member of society by day and a druggie by night
Matches “Fridays Nightmare” to “Fridays Wonder” Lyric
Physically transforms through a ‘tunnel’ (possibly made from tinfoil)
Performance Ideas A room wrapped completely in tin foil Mirrors everywhere to symbolise reflection
(leading a double life) Other silvery objects such as spoons (could
symbolise drugs: meth) and links in with the theme of drug addicts (stealing) as well as our band name of The Magpies.
We have homemade smoke machines for smoke and mirrors imagery.
Band members will swap positions throughout the performance to keep the audience engaged.
Recurring Motifs and Symbols
Tin Foil is going to be the recurring object in the music video
It will be used in the performance but also in the narrative to link the two together.
For example and old TV will be wrapped in tin foil that will display the band playing in the narrative part. This links with Goodwin's theory of music videos with the notion of looking.

Killer Shots Cory would have to climb through a literal tin
foil covered tunnel (cardboard box?) in order to get from the daytime to the night-time
For the line “I was just busy watching everyone go by” a time lapse from an over the shoulder or even POV shot.
There could be a clip where Cory is walking with someone around a corner in the night-time which then it cuts to the daytime and she is alone much like in Hozier’s Someone New video with Natalie Dormer
