  35. 35. Positive aspects of private channels Variety of information and entertainment Helpful in to get awareness of people like in politics, current affairs and also our society. The film industry of Pakistan was not stable as contrary to the India. Pakistani audience was expose to propaganda of Indian movies. So, in that case private channels became helpful to bring the entertainment in peoples home. 24 hours transmission. To get employment for people.
  36. 36. Negative aspects of private channels Indian shows on private channels of Pakistan Indian channels were blocked by PEMRA and we saw the officials condemning the broadcast of Indian Channels in the country, declaring them as a threat to the integrity and culture of Pakistan. Amazingly, now that the audience has converge its interests from the Indian stories to the Local content, the private, reowned channels are now airing the same, I repeat, the same Indian shows through their platform.
