Accomplishments Advocacy Launched the Study on National Quality Infrastructure and Government Regulatory Practices on May 23, 20134 5. Accomplishments Advocacy Conducted a research study on NQI laws and related issuances Ongoing development of Advocacy Agenda and Communications Plan on NQI Ongoing development of Information Education and Communication Materials to support the Philippine NQI advocacy 5 6. Accomplishments Partnerships Development Exploring potential engagement with the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) through the Quality Committee Collaboration with representatives from the EU Trade Related Technical Assistance (EUTRTA3) 7 8. Accomplishments Partnerships Development Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with media entity Peace and Conflict Journalism Network Philippines (PECOJON)8 9. Accomplishments Trainings Conceptualized and developed the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) Basics Training9 10. Accomplishments Partnerships Development Strengthened partnerships with the following government bodies: Bureau of Product Standards (BPS) National Metrology Laboratory (NML) Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB)10 11. Accomplishments Capacity- development Organized a training on Measurement Uncertainty (MU) for Microbiological Analysis attended by various PhilMSTQ member organizations on October 30, 201311 12. Accomplishments Capacity-development Organized a seminar on Proficiency Testing based on ISO 17043 for the Food and Drug Administration of the Department of Health (FDA-DOH) on November 7, 201312 13. Accomplishments Services Organized the distribution of Microbiological Proficiency Testing (PT) for food and water in April and September 2013.13 14. Accomplishments Donor Relations Participated in the PTB Evaluation and Planning Workshop, October 2013 Participated in the EU TRTA 3 NQI Stakeholders Meeting on October 24 & 2514 15.
