MARIO TESTINOThis photograph was taken by famous fashion portrait photographer, Mario Testino.This photograph is particularly eye catching because of the bright red colors used on themodels nails, lips and the fur draped over her head. The red somewhat drained thecolor out of the models face which essentially helps the red stand out even more. Thephotograph shows an extreme close up of the models face. The model seems to beharshly lit with a snoot pointing towards the left side of her face and the reflection ofthe orange fur reflecting on her face to give the harsh contrast of colors between hercheek and face. Or this could have simply have been make up applied to her face oradded in digitally during post-production.

This photograph of famous model Kate Moss was also taken by Mario Testino. Thebright colored make-up applied to Moss’ face in pre-production is what makes thisphotograph a color photograph, also along with the brightly colored mid-range bluephotographic back drop. This is another extreme close up and Moss’ face has beenframed in the center of this of the three thirds of the photograph which makes thisphotograph almost symmetrical. This photograph is evenly lit. The blue back drop/bluemake up on the tops of her face is being reflected by the lighting and is spilling onto thesides of Moss’ face which defines her cheekbones.

This photograph of famous singer and songwriter Lady Gaga was taken by MarioTestino. The clear use of bright colors (Lady Gaga’s hot pink coat, her light blonde hair,her overly tanned skin and orange back drop) is what makes this photograph a colorphotograph. The blonde hair and bronze-ish skin have a large contrast which allowsGaga’s face to stand out against the bright pink coat.

MANDA ROSEThis photograph was taken by Manda Rose, this photograph is a colorphotograph particularly because of the models deep red hair, eye make-upand nails. The hands that are positioned on the sides of the models face andhands by her shoulder and neck lead the viewers eyes towards eyes. Thehands on the sides of the models face in particular center the attention on themodels eyes, along with the models left hand by her neck that is a direct leadto the models face. This photograph appears to be evenly lit through out andthe shadows underneath the models face allows the models face to stand outeven more than it already does.

This photograph was also taken by photograph Manda Rose, the royal bluehair and deep red lipstick are the two main things that make this photograph acolor photograph. The angle at which the models head is tilted along with thelines painted onto her lead the viewers eye towards the eye of the model. Themodels face seems to be harshly lit on one side of the face and the otherseems to be in complete darkness. The blue hair against the models pale skinalso helps her face stand out.

DAVID BENOLEILThis photograph was taken by David Benoleil, the main factor thatmakes this photograph a color photograph is the use of red on themodels fingernails and lips, as you can see the red fingernails and lipscontrast highly the models pale skin, hair and other features. The handrested on the side of the models face leads the viewer's eye towardsthe main objective of the photograph - the face or even the eyes. Thisphotograph is very vampiric and this is clear from the blood drippingfrom the corner of the model's mouth.

This photograph, also taken by David Benoleil, the primary colorsdominant in this photo being red and blue are what make thisphotograph a color photograph. The model in this photograph ismaking a sexually suggestive pose as her eyes are very alluring alongwith the bright red color on her lips. The factor of her mouth beingopen is also sexually suggestive. I think high key lighting may havebeen used because from what can be seen, the models face is softly litfrom the right side and also blends in with the white backdrop.
