Age Doesn’t Define How Good Of A Parent You Are

The Teenage Parent Program is a dropoutprevention program that helps pregnantor parenting teens enrolled in a Miami-Dade County Public School or Charter School get a high school diploma. Florida laws ensure students with children receive the support to finish high school (FR 6A-6.05292/FS100.54).

These laws give students enrolled in the program access to parenting skills training, referrals to health care providers and social service agencies, child care during school hours and transportation at no cost. Each M-DCPS and Charter school has a TAP contact available to students. If you are interested in enrolling in the TAP program please call (305) 636-7356.
