    INTRODUCTION

    Stirrups are the conventional shear reinforcement forreinforced concrete beams. Resistance to diagonaltension and crack propagation are the advantages ofusing this conventional shear reinforcement. ut on the

    other hand! some disadvantages have been found b"the researchers.
