INFANTS, TODDLERS & PRESCHOOLERS (up to age 4) Every Sunday, we have childcare for infants as well as a class for t o d d l e r s ( a g e 1 - 2 ) a n d preschoolers (age 3-4) throughout the entire service. For your convenience, there is a change-table in the preschool restroom, that parents are welcome to use. The preschool rooms are located next to the parent room, through the doors at the (east) end of the lobby.

KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 4 Children from Kindergarten to Grade 4 will be dismissed mid-way through the service for fun age-appropriate lessons and activi-ties.

GRADE 5 - 7 Xtreme Life The Xtreme life Sunday school (grades 5-7) class meets upstairs in the fireside room during the message.

Parkland Softball The following schedule is for the first half of the season. The schedule for the second half of the season will be available after May 25th. The games will be

played on June 1,8 and the 15th. Play off games are scheduled for June 22 & 23. Softball Sunday is June 23rd at Parkland Fellowship; consisting of a church ser-

vice before the afternoon games.

If you or your family can help distribute and/or collect baby bottles for Operation Baby Bottle, an important annual fundraiser for Pregnancy Options in Surrey, between Mother's Day, Sunday May 12 and Father's Day, Sunday June 16, please contact Carol Stewart (604-588-6454, or [email protected].

We are looking for a bookkeeper to do the accounting for Parkland. This is a 10 – 15 hr per month volunteer position requiring a good working knowledge of full cycle account-ing, payroll and computerized accounting systems. Please contact the church office if you are interested at 604-582-0282 or email [email protected]

A single man who is a recent retiree in our community is looking for a modest afford-able rental housing arrangement that would be available by the end of this month. If you are aware of any local possibility or an opportunity elsewhere in the lower mainland, please notify Tim Dyck (604.584.7189) who is acquainted with this gentleman.

There are several opportunities to get involved in the worship and welcome teams. - computer - producer

- sound people - Musicians - greeters

- coffee / tea servers If you would like to explore an involvement in any of these areas please talk to terry or

patience for Joe, his brother Tim & his mom Phyllis and all extended family and friends.

• Congratulations to Stephanie and Cameron Shaughnessy - parents to beau-

tiful little girl Emma Rose, who arrived March 22, 2013 at 7:25, weighing 6 lbs. 1 oz. Also congratulations to Mick & Mary, Emma’s grandparents.

• Please pray for Karen Escaravage. She is home but continues to undergo

medical testing hoping to determine where her abdominal pain originates. Pray that the doctors are able to identify the problem quickly.

• Pray for Redemption Community Church, as this new church launched on

March 31, 2013. Pray that people would come to know Christ through the min-istries of Redemption.

Nicaragua

Join a mission team, July 20-27, 2013, to Managua, Nicaragua, contact Gord or Donnie Mooney ([email protected]) or Carol Stewart ([email protected]). The team will assist at Villa Esparenza - 3 houses for 24 young girls rescued from the city dump. The team will work with and be supported by a US mission agency, Forward Edge International (www.forwardedge.org).

India Raj and Kim Vannadil will be on the road again to raise both prayer and financial part-ners for their long term missionary work in India. They appreciate your prayers.

1. Faith Baptist Church in Vancouver - April 21 2. South Ridge Baptist church in Langley - May 26 3. West Side Baptist church in Kamloops - June 9

Raj's upcoming mission trip to India will be from April 27 - May 20. He’ll will visit the north eastern part of India and south India. He will be involved in training national lead-ers and will work with a Fellowship International missionary in India. The Vannadil’s have raised about 20% of their support now but still have a long way to go. Pray for God's provision as they raise prayer and financial support in order to leave for India and establish new leadership development programs there.
