Spring is just around the corner. You can feel the excitement when this incredible weather remains in the air. The excitement is growing for the PTO, as well. There are still many events left to be planned for the remainder of the year. We will kick Spring off to a good start this evening with the FINAL K-5 Movie Night of the year tonight with Puss in Boots. Bring your blankets and wear your PJ’s! The doors open at 6:30pm and the movie starts at 7:00pm.

Our Valentine’s Dinner and Dance was a huge success. We had over 400 in attendance! Thank you all for coming. All profits earned help the students of Park School. Our volunteers deserve a round of applause, as well. Each volunteer has been thanked individually but we cannot thank them enough. The evening would not have been as fabulous without your help.

Do you like free donuts and coffee? Then volunteer your time to our Market Day host month! Each of the five D46 schools involved with Market Day must provide a group of volunteers two months out of the year. Our first opportunity is on April 21st. We need your help from approximately 7:30am – 10:30am. Please contact Irena Braun if interested at [email protected] The morning goes by so fast when you are volunteering for a good cause with a group of really good people...with free donuts and coffee....

Inspiration Day is scheduled for May 24, and the plans are well under way for students in all grades K-8 to particpate. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Tiffany O’Malley [email protected] or Laurie Luczak at [email protected]

May is approaching and it will soon be time for PTO elections. Have you ever thought about joining the PTO? The positions of the PTO Board consist of President, Vice-President, Ways and Means, Treasurer, and Secretary. We could use two to three individuals for Ways and Means and two individuals for Vice-President. If you interested, but would like more information, please see the attached flyer.

Please join us for our general PTO meeting on March 14 at 7:00pm in the Media Center. Learn about what we have been doing, and how you can assist us.
