A LETTER FROM CAMP November 13th, 2015 Camp Director: Mrs. Cronce Assistant Camp Director: Mrs. Sorrell THANK YOU Conferences are fast-approaching. Please make every effort to come on time for your scheduled appointment, as others are awaiting their turn. Conferences will be student-led, so be sure to bring them along! Their journals will be in the hall as well for you to peruse and for jotting a quick note of pride, so try to come a few minutes early/stay a few minutes later. Your children and I look forward to sharing their goals and accomplishments with you! An Informed Camper Is A Happy Camper! Homework (due November 20th): > Responsibility Chore Chart* (due Nov 24 th ) > Take an AR test on your library/classroom book > Complete the ScootPad sessions assigned Mark Your Calendar: Nov 17-19 Parent-Teacher Conferences/Spirit Week-> Nov 24- 2:15 First Grade Feast in the cafeteria Nov 25-27- Thanksgiving Break Enjoy! Dec 1- 9:30-12 Social Studies field trip to the mall *The Chore Chart will help us gather money for our trip to Birchwood Mall, where we will purchase items for the needy to cement our Social Studies concepts of needs/wants, economy, and scarcity. A huge THANK YOU goes out to the little fairies who left bags of goodies for the MakerSpace on my back table! Also, a shout out to Mrs. Feldhouse for taking on the HUGE task of copying, cutting, and preparing all of the vocabulary cards for our year of Social Studies. I bet those were some long nights in front of the TV, lol. Finally, thanks goes out to Mrs. Collins who came in and worked in the dusty book room for the morning sorting, numerating, and filing all of the decodable paper books your campers bring home to read to you once each week. We are so THANKFUL for these women, as well as those who are able to come in and help us out with centers! Thank you, thank you!
