Complications follow the return ofanother nephew, Jonathan, and hishenchman Dr. Herman Einstein,who’s said to be a plastic surgeon.Einstein’s latest surgery has turnedthe long-lost Jonathan into a deadringer for Boris Karloff, the actor whoplayed the monster in the originalFrankenstein movie. As it turns out,both Jonathan and Einstein are homi-cidal maniacs — Jonathan an eagerone and Einstein a reluctant one.

A third Brewster nephew,Mortimer, seems normal in compari-son to his brothers and his aunts.Mortimer, however, is dissatisfiedwith his job as a newspaper theatercritic, and his discovery of the oddactivities in the Brewster house dis-rupt his relationship with ElaineHarper, who lives next door to theBrewster aunts with her father, apreacher. As it happens, a cemeteryseparates the two homes.

Throw in a gaggle of cops whoseem incapable of detecting what’sright in front of them, much less the

rising body count, and you have themakings of a hilarious evening of the-ater.
