DECA walked for Alzheimer’s Awareness on

Sunday, Sept. 19th. Twenty students and three

chaperones from DECA carpooled from the Hobart

High School parking lot to Hidden Lake Park to

walk for the disease. Overall, the walk was a great

success. The Alzheimer's Association raised

$108,000 through this walk, which exceeded their

goal by $8,000. Following the one mile walk,

refreshments and goodie bags were given to all

those who participated.
