Oakland Retail Forum >> AABA’s Oakland Retail Forum assembled one keynote, four panelists, and a moderator, each seasoned professionals in their field of expertise >> retail. >> Keynote speaker John Jay shared his experience developing in Oakland and other cities, including a highly successful Mi Pueblo in Vallejo. His current redevelopment of Foothill Square in East Oakland, an urban infill project on 14 acres, will soon be anchored by a 72,000 sq. ft. Kroger, 25,000 sq. ft. Ross, and 7,000 sq. ft. Anna’s Linens, in addition to a new Wells Fargo branch. Good news for Oakland. >> AABA’s program benefited from the expert moderation of ICSC favorite Jim McMasters, Senior Retail Specialist and Director of Colliers’ Retail Division.
