And we are instructed to turn from

godless living and sinful pleasures. We

should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while

we look forward with hope to thatwonderful day when the glory of our great

God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will berevealed. He gave his life to free us fromevery kind of sin, to cleanse us, and tomake us his very own people, totally

    committed to doing good deeds.

    Titus 2:12-14 NLT

A life that is set apart for Christ is one tha

is entirely free of the taint of compromise

the approval of man, and the allure of the

world all around us. As we walk that

narrow way, we must remember that the

witness of our lives to the world abroad is

that we are different, NOT just some wha

    different, but ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT!

You are uniquely made, destined for

greatness, and have been set apart from

the beginning of time (Jer. 1:5). While the

world around you tries to fit you into the

box of conformity, remember that Godsyearning is for us to break that mold and

    be the change!

Be encouraged and BE THE CHANGE!

Run To JesusWe could be enjoying the living water that only Christ can offer, yetwe choose substitutes that are shockingly, disgustingly inferior."

"The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run tohim andare safe." Proverbs 18:10 NLT

    Where is your sanctuary?

Where do you go when you're hurting?Who do you run to?

Many times when I am disappointed, hurt, or justplain mad I will run to my phone and call my momto vent. Let's stop here: "Your circle ofassociates will influence the way you think-----good or bad. Surround yourself with wise, godly people!" Pastor Creflo DollarNow,although my mother is my closest friend andalthough I completely trust her.AND although

she is truly a woman of God

AND althoughshe always gives me great, godly advice.sheis not and cannot take the place of Jesus! TheBible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, our help in times of trouble (Ps. 46:1-2) and thatthe name of the Lord is a strong fortress; thegodly run to him and are safe (Pro. 18:10 NLT).These two scriptures tell me who to run to.

"It's easy to forget, and so easy for us to run

in other directions. Where we go says a lot

about who we are. The "higher ground" weseek reveals the geography of our values."Kyle Idleman Many times we try to cast our careonto folks, which leaves us with a temporary fixand a fake sense of peaceespecially if theperson that we run to is just as passionatelyheated up as we are! lol!BUT the truth is, there is no fix outside of Jesu

Christ. There is no true peace or joy outside o

the very presence of God. We have to pursue

peace (Psalm 34:14 NIV). And we must also

settle in our spirits that our peace can only come

from the Prince of peace....not from folks! We als

have to continually seek God's presence and His

    face (1 Chronicles 16:11 and Psalm 105:4).

    Proverbs 31:12 NLT

    "She brings him good, not

harm, all the days of her life."

    Proverbs 31:12 NLT

Everyone and their momma knows about the Proverbs 31 woman. "Who can find a virtuous

woman?" "She is clothed with strength and dignity...." etc. We read about her, we know women who

are her, and we want to be her. I truly desire to become like the woman of Proverbs 31-----a woman

who is beautiful in God's eyes.

    She is:

Pure----a woman of virtue (vs. 10)

Honest----her husband trusts her (vs. 11-12)

Industrious-----she is busy from sunup to sundown managing her interests and expanding her

    enterprises (vs. 13-19, 21-22, 24, 27, & 31)

Provident-----her skill with finances enables her to care for her loved ones and increases her

    property (vs. 14 & 16)

Strong in character----she faces the daily challenges of life with undaunted courage; she is a

    woman of integrity (vs. 25 & 29)

Kind----she is compassionate and sweet speech comes from her lips (vs. 20 & 26)

Wise----walking in wisdom is her way of life (vs. 26)

Holy----she wholeheartedly loves the Lord and lives, walks, and talks like Christ (vs. 3)

"Be ye holy, for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16)

Always remember that there is so much beauty in holiness.

Yes, the virtuous woman is a rare treasure----a distinctive, exceptional, extraordinary, superlative

treasure----but according to God, the Author of all beauty, you and I can become all that she is. During

my quiet time one day, as I studied this chapter, Proverbs 31:12 stood out to me. It reads, "She brings

him good, not harm, all the days of her life." ALL THE DAYS OF HER LIFE. ALL THE DAYS OF HERLIFE. All. The. Days. Of. Her. Life......

    WHAT?!?!?

I've read this before plenty of times, and maybe just like me you assumed that maybe it meant that "al

the days of her life" started after she says, "I do." Especially because you just like me have no clue who

your future husband is! But as I began to spend some time with Christ......He began to show me that

bringing my husband good and not harm.....all the days of my life.....starts right here, right now.....while

    am single.
