Notice to Training Partners on Empanelment of CITS Trained Trainers
Dear Training Partners,
With reference to the Office Memorandum F. No. SD-17/65/2019-SNP dated 15th April 2019
(attached: Appendix 1) issued by the Ministry of Skill Development & entrepreneurship (MSDE),
please note the following:
1. In addition to the existing eligibility for trainers defined by the respective Sector Skill Council,
Training providers may also consider hiring National Crafts Instructor Certificate (NCIC)
holders with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience as Trainers at their
Training Centres for conducting short-term skill training programmes.
2. The list of Qualification Packs for which NCIC holders with minimum 1 year of experience can
be appointed as Trainers is appended below for ready reference.
3. As per the Office Memorandum, these trainers will be treated as provisionally certified for 3
months from the date of appointment. The Training Partner must ensure that the Trainer
undergoes only a 3- day Training and Assessment conducted by the SSC within the 3 months
of the appointment period in order to become a certified trainer, so as to enable the trainer
to carry on training under Short Term Training.
