On the Empress Ward in the Month of May we have had two of burglaries where the in-truder has gained entry through an unlocked door and by hooking keys left near to and inview of the front door. We advise that you always double lock your doors and that keys arenot left near or in view.

CHERRYWOOD WARD

Your SNT team is PC Mark Ranola, PC Ian Stewardson, PCSO Lynn Anderson, PCSO

Gordon Pengilley, PCSO Harry Collins-Hardman and PCSO Rai.

Following a recent forum officers have been focusing on vehicle crime in the area, due to anumber of reports of damage to car wing mirrors. Notices have been placed on wind-screens suggesting that wing mirrors are tucked in where it is noticed that damage might becaused. Similarly if it is noticed that any valuables are left on display owners are contactedeither in person or by letter to keep these safe.

There has been a few shed breaks this month and crime prevention surgeries have beenorganised to bring these to residents attention.

Due to there being environmental issues with littering and fly tipping in the ward a number of visual audits have been completed and will continue on an on going basis. These auditshave been done by local school children, the police, Rushmoor Borough Council and theFire service. Anything found has then quickly been dealt with.

With the warmer weather increased patrols are being done along Cove Brook and Moor

Road playing fields where reports of mini motos/scrambling bikes are being ridden.
