There is a limited supply and they will be sold on a first-come first- served basis. Cost is $50.00 per tree. Please call Public Works at 306-786-1760 to arrange for pick-up. All contractors using the snow dump site on 4th Ave and York Road must purchase snow dump site permits or renew last year’s permit before December 31/2014. These can be purchased at the Public Works shop on York road. This Week’s News Outdoor Rinks All City outdoor rinks are now open with the exception of the secondary grass rink that is being built at the Knights of Columbus Park. The lights will be on from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. nightly. Outdoor rinks are located at Weinmaster, Heritage Heights, and Knights of Columbus Parks. There is also a smaller rink located at Silver Heights Park that has no lights and no boards. Tables and garbage cans have been placed at Roslyn Hill (Rodney Ridge) for the tobogganers and sliders. Snow removal Snow from personal driveways and businesses is not to be pushed onto City streets, city properties or drainage ditches. Excessive snow and ice in drainage ditches will hamper drainage in the spring and promote flooding. Please adhere to the parking bylaw notices posted so that our Public Works department can effectively and efficiently clear snow from our roadways. Emergency Vehicles Vehicles should keep right when emergency vehicles are approaching from the rear, and during winter weather when traction is not the best please give extra caution when train warning lights are flashing. Technical Analyst Finance Department Competition Number: 2014-59 The City of Yorkton is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual with a passion for computers and technology to join our Information Technology team as a Technical Analyst.
