WELCOME TO WORSHIP Welcome to worship at Carmichael Presbyterian Church. As God’s people,
worship is what we are called to do. Whether together or apart, near or far,
God’s people are called to be the church and to worship the God of love
incarnate in Jesus Christ.
So join us, as together we navigate life and ministry during this season of
COVID-19, seeking community in both familiar and unexpected places. Our
10:00 a.m. live stream worship service blends traditional and contemporary
styles and includes pre-recorded videos which provide an opportunity for
members of our faith community to participate in new ways.
May the peace and wholeness of Christ be with you always,
~Pastor Keith and Pastor Ivan

Thursday on Facebook. Go to www.facebook.com/carmichaelpres to join
in. You can also watch the videos anytime by going to “Posts” on the CPC
Facebook page.
• Even though the church office is closed, Pastor Keith, Pastor Ivan, and the
office staff are working remotely. You can send an email or leave a
voicemail. Or, if it’s a pastoral emergency, call Pastor Keith or Pastor Ivan
at their home phone numbers which are listed in the church directory.
• Marinerships, book studies, and other groups are meeting via Zoom.
Check out “Meetings This Week” or contact your group/committee leader
for details!
STEPPING STONES “SACRAMENTS” CLASS All second graders and their families are invited to learn about communion
and other sacraments at Stepping Stones of Faith classes on Zoom starting
next Sunday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom and continuing on Sunday,
February 21. ElizaBeth Phillips will lead the classes and all class supplies will
be delivered to participating families. Watch for a flyer with Zoom access in-
formation. If you have a second grader and don’t receive a flyer or if you
have questions, please contact Lisa Torgerson at [email protected]
YOU DON’T HAVE TO FACE IT ALONE If you are going through a difficult time, whether it be because of isolation,
job transition, personal loss, or anxiety in the time of sheltering-in-place,
consider asking for a Stephen Minister. CPC’s trained, caring Stephen Min-
isters will listen and walk alongside you as you deal with life’s challenges.
Contact one of our Stephen Leaders to see whether Stephen Ministry is the
answer for you or call the confidential line 916-486-0604. During this time of
social distancing, our Stephen Ministers are trained to provide confidential
care over the phone.
