Questions for personal reflection based on this Sunday’s Readings…

Signs of God’s

Love Moses said to the people, “For ask now

about former ages, long before your own,

ever since the day that God created human

beings on the earth; ask from one end of

heaven to the other: has anything so great as

this ever happened or has its like ever been

heard of?”

(Deuteronomy 4:32)

What signs of God’s love have you

witnessed in your life?

How can you be a sign of God’s love to

others this week?

PASTORAL COUNCIL

Since our parish adopted and celebrated our Five-Year Mission, Vision and Values for Nativity of Our Lord last fall, we have formed four Coordinating Committees around Word, Worship, Service and Community. Their role is to help the Council oversee our Mission, and develop Action Plans for each area. Last week, we shared the plans being developed by the Service Coordinating Committee. The second group, the Community Coordinating Committee, is initially focusing on three areas: Development of a Parish Community Calendar that will publish all parish activities including spiritual, social and relevant Diocesan events; Building new types and more effective communications to all parish members; and Understanding the various groups that create the mosaic of our parish membership. In the coming weeks, we will share information about our remaining two Coordinating Committees.

What a nice way to do your spring shopping! We have added an ON-LINE section to our voucher program. You can purchase certificates on your phone and use them ASAP. Can you even imagine stopping in a Walmart for just a few items…then all of a sudden you have a cartful? Don’t worry, log into your app, purchase a Walmart E-card and save money instantly. You can also reload cards, and order physical cards that will be sent to the school for regular pickup on Thursdays. Not all families need to register for the ON-LINE Program.
