Movie Trailer Plot/Storyline

Three boys – mid teen years in the park smoking

Start to reminisce about the past when they were in school and were very innocent didn’t get into any trouble and so on

Flashbacks into the past listened to all teachers, would do all their work and wouldn’t cause commotion

Back to the present they all talk about how they want their future to be like and start to fantasize and imagine their ‘future’

Every persons future was fantasized differently and they all begin to talk about wanting to change, however, one person disagrees

Fast forward into the future and everyone leads their life differently. One is a CEO of a company, another is in a maternity ward/hospital, and the last is in jail, behind bars

Britishness

Britishness is displayed throughout the movie trailer as the movie trailer contains the realism that Britons face in todays society.

It is displayed through the behaviours that the characters convey in their roles.

Also, the britishness can be conveyed through the scenery, locations, cast, directors and more. As all the mentioned are all in Britain, it is therefore called conveying British realism

Message

The message that I want to convey through my short movie trailer is that ‘Your Life is what you make of it’

Having this message convey throughout my short movie trailer will help young people think carefully about the decision they will make in the near future

Location and Environment

The location and environment used during the filming process is realistic because the locations and the environment filmed in is local and is the place where crimes are committed often. Having filmed in such a area, will convey how realistic the several situations are

Relationships and Attitude

This short movie trailer represents the realism of relationships and attitudes conveyed through the personalities and behaviour of the characters.

Also, the relationships and attitudes represented in the movie trailer is what happens most often in Britain.

Young people in todays society are apathetic and lack the basic social mannerisms that are important which may be due to various circumstances

Crime, Policing and Judicial

There is a fair representation of crime in my movie trailer.

There is crime in my movie trailer because there is a large amount of severe crimes committed by the young people of Britain. I want to be able to show my audience that nothing good or positive comes from committing crimes and the consequences will also be just as severe
