Climbing to the top hat’s it like being a jazz legend?

Haha! I’m not sure I’d call myself a legend!ThiThis year has been such a whirlwind. I can’t believe how well my album has sold. It’s overwhelming to re-cieve so much praise.

Tell us about the new album

It’s a story inspired by my recent trip to America. I spent a lot of time in New Orleans, and worked with and saw some amazing musicians. It’s also inspired by a heartbreak, which is why I had to take the trip.IIt’s a bit of a change for me, as it’s a slightly more serious look at the world. I’d say it’s a more mature work.

What’s your favourite song and why?

II’d say my absolute favourite song is called ‘The Walk’. It’s very slow and mournful, and reflects a journey. It’s

about any journey. For me, it means a physiucal journey, and the growing up I’ve had to do this year.

Do you prefer to perform on your own or with a band?

ThatThats a hard one. I do love being the only one on stage because its exiting when you capture an audience. Though there is nothinbg better than me and my band performing all together.

WhaWhat are your thoughts on how well your latest album sold and how much support your getting?

The support I have recieved for my music is absulutely inbelievable. The album has sold way better than i thought it would.

AndAnd finally are you planning on touring at all?

Originally i didnt have any plans on going on tour but because of the amount of fans it is something im considering.
