Week 8 in K/1

During InvigorArt last week, students enjoyed trying

some new art methods and techniques. It was lovely to

see so many students stepping out of their comfort

zones and having a go.

K/1 have been busy practising their sweet singing for

the Christmas Carols on Saturday.

As we wind down for the end of the year, it is nice to

see the students still enjoying learning and being proud

of their efforts and achievements.

K-4 Excursion

Wow! What a fantastic day we had on our K-4

excursion!

We started the day travelling to Quirindi Rural Heritage

Village and Miniature Railway. All aboard.... we had

great fun enjoying a train ride then off to explore the

museum.

After a quick bite to eat, we boarded the bus and

headed to Tamworth “Jump Up Trampoline Zone.” We

explored all the different trampolining techniques and

then put them into practise.

We learned that 10 minutes on a trampoline jumping

is equal to half an hour of running!! After our time

was up... we had lunch then boarded the bus back to

school. The bus was full of very tired sleepy heads!

5/6

5/6 have had a relaxing and mindful week at school,

making Christmas decorations to display on our

windows, drawing and making Christmas cards and

completing wordpuzzles and find–a-words. We are

also working on a 1000 piece puzzle. It is wonderful

to see the children focused and working together on

a project.
