Our company background from Thailand energy policy, This energy policy has major

objectives to promote alternative energy to

complement and strengthen Thai Electricity system by using own resources from

biomass such as Rice husk, Sugar cane-bagasse corn

leaves, plam shell and woodchip, to reduce the

import of fossil fuels and to replace Thai supply of fossils fuels which is forecasted to

run short in the next 30 years

Mungcharoen Green power has developed Rice Husk Power Plant

since 2004 in Surin Province, Northern part of Thailand.

The project started construction in January 2005 and completed in November 2006. The Project start commercial operation on

January 23,2007

Design plant, we use rice husk is main fuel in process electrical generation for emergency case can use other biomass in process

The rice husk for supply plant 80% from Mungcharoen Rice mill and 20% from alliance

For steam generation, we use Biomass Fire Boiler design by “ERK German” capacity 55 TPH to generated medium pressure super heated steam 40 Bar , 435 degree ‘C

Furnace and combustor, we use technology from German by use combustor type “Step Grate”

Turbine type “Full Condensing Steam Turbine” from HTC capacity 9,900 kW rate speed 8,540 RPM with “Gear reduction”

Electricity generation by use Synchronous Generator type “Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)” capacity 11,560 KVA (9,900 kW at PF 0.85) and generate voltage 11,000 V

The electricity sell to the EGAT Public Company Limited “Firm”, and connect to grids with PEA line Feeder # 5

Product

Rice Husk Ash

(RHA) is by product of complete combustion of rice husk. This kind of ash is high in quality, and it is an essential raw material for steel and silica plant industries.

Environmental and Management

Waste Water From Process

We design to zero discharge system, and over all water not reject outer factory

Use the zero discharge principle to relieve the anxiety of nearby communities. In practices, waste water is treaded to have quality in accordance with the ministry of industry standard before releasing to holding pond.

Air Pollution System

Power plant use clean technology by use 2 system air treatment

Use the first cleaning by use “Cyclone Dust Collector” and second cleaning by use “ESP”
