It was a great turn out this year with over 50+ attendees from all over NSW coming together to see our new products and catching up with industry colleagues for dinner & a drink. All members who attended on the night received a free BMI Tape Measure as a gift from the LGA to attending members.

There was considerable interest in our NEW AUTEL Diagnostic machine, the JMA Nomad Key Machine & Our LOCKTON Mortice Lock range

The MLAA Victorian Branch Meeting on 24 February 2021 had a fantastic turnout, and was a great reminder of the resilience of the locksmith community in the face of the trials the past year has thrown at us. It was the first Victorian get-together in 12 months.

It was great to see the 80-odd members who came out for a drink, some food, a chat, and a story about a long-suffering Frenchman from David Rees.

“The Master Locksmiths community is one of the great strengths of our industry, and it’s important that we continue to look after each other in these challenging times,” said MLAA’s Victorian Director Jason Catlow.

“These events are a great opportunity to catch up with your fellow locksmiths, and the strong num-ber of attendees that enjoyed last night’s hospitality at Platform 28 goes to show that. I encourage all MLAA members to come along to their local Branch Meetings whenever they can.”

“It was a great feeling to see everyone looking well, to shake a few hands and to chat about how we have all been coping with COVID times and to just relax in general and share some camaraderie,” added Life Member David Rees.

The MLAA NSW Branch Meeting on 09 March 2021 at SGLOCKS was a great turnout with many coming out to see the first official SG AUTO 2021 Presentation.The entire AUTO 2021 Range was on display in the SG trailer for all to get hand’s on with products and hands on demo’s with SG staff.Lot’s of focus was on the New IM608-Pro-kit and many members enjoyed programming their first Mercedes Infra red key into a Mercedes Vito EIS ignition on the bench.Formalities were kept to a minimum so we all could enjoy a well-deserved get together with fellow Master Locksmiths and supplier staff.Thanks to all the members who came out for some Great German Beer, Pretzels & food by VOLKSWURST - Cooked fresh & served from their classic VW Combi. It was great to finally catch up with everyone in a social atmosphere & we are all looking forward to doing it again very soon - SG

The MLAA QLD Branch Meeting on the 11th of March 2021 had a fantastic turnout, one of the largest attendances on record in QLD.

Thanks to the 60-odd members who came out from as far as Toowoomba for a drink, some food, a quick look at some new products including the ML20 restricted key profile.

Among some of the important topics regarding the MLAA was the announcement that the AGM and Annual trade show will be back this year!

MLAA members were delighted to hear that the event will be held at the newly renovated Marriott on the Gold Coast in late October.
