From your missionaryI am looking forward to the next twomonths as we will have manyopportunities as churches to reachmany people through VBS, camps,and mission trips. I love VBS andhave many great memories from mychildhood and how it impacted mylife. I know that each church isworking hard in preparing for whatGod is going to do. I look forward to

getting around to as many churches as possible duringVBS. I pray that many lives will be changed.

I am very excited about our associational summer camps.We have four camps this year, and our directors have beenworking very hard preparing for the children and youth.Please pray for all our directors. Jenni Taylor and DanielleWalls are co-directing the girls camp and the day camp. Eric Eidenire, Christian Abercrombie, and myself will beoverseeing the boys camp. We also be having a youthcamp this summer, and I believe it will be the best youthcamp in our area. Please encourage children and youth inyour churches to attend these camps. Applications can bedownloaded from our website or you may pick upapplications at our associational office

An associational team is going to Townsend, TN the thirdweek in July to do campground ministry. This is the firstyear for this type of ministry, and I look forward to howGod will use the team to impact children and families. Wewill do day camp in the mornings and family night eachevening. Please pray as the Gospel is presented that manywill pray to receive Christ. I am also trying to put togethera team to go to North Georgia the last week in July to dodays camps in a resort area. If you know of anyone whowould be interested, please have them contact me at theassociational office. The dates will be July 26-29, and thecost should be nominal.

It is my prayer we will have the best summer yet and many lives will be saved and believers will be drawn intoa deeper walk with God. May God be glorified in all thatwe do for the Kingdom!

Vienna First Church has called Brian Leverett as pastor. He will begin his pastorate there in early June. He is agraduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminaryand is originally from Milledgeville. His most recentpastorate was at Malta Baptist Church, Malta, Texas. Brian is pictured above with his wife Amy and theirchildren.
