    ZEN AND THE HORSE, is a way of spiritual training an d self development. I t uses theprinciples and techniques of Zen meditation (posture, breath, awareness) in relationship to thehorse. Zen an d the Horse enables its participants to directly experience their interconnectednesswith all life.

    The goal of Zen an d the Horse is for the rider to experience how their awareness is directlyinfluenced by their posture an d breath an d reflected by the horse. The relationship fosteredbetween rider an d horse is one of mutual respect.
