Mexico’s flag On the flag there are the colors green, white and red with an eagle holding a snake in it’s mouth. The green stands for the land where the Mexican fought the war. White stands for the purity of the people. Red stands for all the blood the people lost during the war. The eagle eating the snake means that the god of the Aztecs told the Aztecs that they where ever found an eagle eating a snake that that’s where they are going to live.
