Begin in Mexico City and discover its colonial architecture. Visit Xochimilco with an amazing tour of its channels. Among other stops not to be missed, the Anthropology Museum and Teotihuacan.

Discover Taxco, its rich silver tradition and cobblestone streets; Tequesquitengo and Puebla with their lovely landscapes and delicious cuisine. Oaxaca, with different ethnicities and cultures. See Monte Alban, the most important indigenous capital of the region during the Classic period. Next, Chiapas, located in an area of tropical high forest where the ancient Mayans erected stunning cities in the jungle. See the Sumidero Canyon and San Cristóbal de las Casas. Visit Palenque, one of the most remarkable cities of the Mayan world. Continue to Campeche followed by Uxmal, a World Heritage Site. Lastly, Merida, concentrating the best of Yucatan; along with Chichen Itza, the world’s most famous Mayan city and the second most visited archaeological site in Mexico, after Teotihuacan.

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL MEXICO CITYArrival at the Mexico City International Airport (MEX). Meet and Transfer to the hotel for accommodation. Rest of day at leisure.

DAY 2 | MEXICO CITY TOUR-BAZAAR DEL SABADO-XOCHIMILCOAmerican breakfast at hotel. After this pick up for a City Tour visiting the Historical Center, the National Palace, the Metropolitan

Cathedral and the Zocalo. After this central area, trip to the southern neighborhood of San Angel. At the end of the day, the trip follows to the “Floating Gardens” of Xochimilco. Return to hotel and rest of day at leisure.

DAY 3 | MEXICO CITY-ANTHROPOLOGY MUSEUM-TEOTIHUACANAmerican breakfast at hotel. Visit to the Anthropology Museum with a guided overview of the pre-Hispanic history of Mesoamerica.

Continuation to the north part of the city to visit the world’s famous Teotihuacan Pyramids, passing by the Guadalupe Shrine. At the end of the visit, leisure time for climbing onto one of these colossal constructions dedicated to the sun and the moon. In the evening return to Mexico City. Rest of day at leisure.

DAY 8 | TEHUANTEPEC - SUMIDERO CANYON - SAN CRISTOBALAmerican breakfast at hotel. The tour continues in the morning heading for San Cristobal de las Casas via Tuxtla Gutierrez, and from there to the Sumidero Canyon. Here you can consider the possibility of a delightful boat ride through the magnificent canyon. Continue to San Cristobal de las Casas.
