The USF MBA program is designed with the full-timeworking professional inmind.Most of our students continue intheir professional careers while completing theMBAprogram.They come from all over the bay area, and they appreciatethe option to take classes either downtown or at our mainTampa campus.We have designed our fast-track semestersso that every student can get through the program morequickly than ever. In a traditional MBA program, it takes 16weeks of class in order to complete one 3-credit hour course.In the USFMBA program,we have condensed our 3-credithour courses into 12 weeks, so each semester you will have4 extra weeks in which you can earn more credits. By takingadvantage of this course design, students can get throughtwo extra classes per year, shortening the length of time inthe program significantly.

The College of Business provides individual career counseling and job search coaching
designed to meet the unique needs of MBA students. We teach you through real-world
projects to bring what is learned in the classroom to the workplace.You will have the opportunity
to meet employers and alumni face to face through networking events, information sessions,
on-campus interviews and career fairs throughout the year.You may also participate in video
taped mock interviews and receive resume reviews from recruiting professionals. Employers
have direct access to your resume through our on-line recruiting system. We use technology
to reach out to our working professional population, including email job coaching, instant
messaging, online workshops and chats and podcasts.

Professional Development FeeAll new MBA students are assessed a $100 non-refundable professional development fee. In addition to securing the student's place inthe entering class, the professional development fee is used throughout the program to support the activities of the Graduate BusinessAssociation, equipment and supplies for student use, special seminars and events, subscriptions, publications, guest speakers, refreshments,and occasional receptions and meals. �e professional development fee is in addition to the $35 Comprehensive New Graduate Studentfee assessed by the university.
Financial AidA limited number of scholarships and graduate assistantships are available each year to full-time MBA students. Assistantships providepart-time (20 hours per week) employment in various academic departments.Duties may include research, teaching and administration.
Graduate Assistant hiring decisions are made by individual departments.
Scholarship applications will automatically be sent to qualified candidates, and recipients are required to attend the annual ScholarshipLuncheon in order to be eligible.

Curriculum�e MBA curriculum is continually evaluated for its strength and relevance to changing global issues, business ethics, cultural diversity,and the innovation of technology. USF faculty and staff members are dedicated to creating an educational environment that equipsgraduates with the basic analytical tools required by managers, and a mastery of the fundamental concepts and principles involved in theglobal business arena.
TOTALProgramRequirements (37-48 Credits)Constraints: 1– minimum credits required are thirty-seven (37),maximum credits are forty-eight (48). 2– Undergraduate Business majorswho have completed their degree within the past seven years from an AACSB accredited university may be eligible to waive the ManagerialTool Courses.�e minimum degree requirements for such students are 37 credits. 3 – Students who are eligible to waive the ManagerialTool Courses must complete an advanced course in four of the seven courses waived. Students do not need an advanced course in theirarea of undergraduate major. Students who waive the tool courses are required to take a Business Skills Review course (non-credit) andpass the exams in the first semester of enrollment. 4 – Students who are required to take the tool courses are required to take only twospecialization tracks (18 hours). Students who waive the tool courses are required to take 3 specialization tracks (27 credit hours).Note: Tool/core courses may not be counted as electives.

Undergraduate Business majors who have completed their degree within the past seven years from an AACSB or regionally accredited institution may be eligible to bypass the business foundation courses and complete an MBA Boot Camp instead. The MBA non-credit Boot Camp will cover concepts in business vocabulary, decision making, measurement and market orientation.

Admission RequirementsThe USF MBA program will consider the strength of each applicant based on the entire completed application. Outstanding qualities in one area may compensate for a weakness in another. The Admission Committee will consider: prior college-level academic performance (bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution required), GMAT or GRE scores, professional work experience, recommendation letters, a statement of purpose, community or volunteer service, and any other information that might help convince the committee that the applicant is a good fit for this program.
USF’s premier MBA program mixes several types of learning: teamwork, class discussion, presentations, case analyses, and experience. We are seeking competitive candidates who would fit well in this multi-faceted learning environment to become part of the USF MBA community.
International applicants from non English-speaking countries must also meet minimum TOEFL scores.
Entering students are also expected to have:
