Maestro displays local wind conditions and isMaximum’s most popular instrument! The outerscale measures wind speed from 0-100 MPHwhile the inner scale shows the 0-160 km/hequivalent. Wind direction is displayed via eighthighly visible red LEDs. Wind speed is self-powered by the rooftop sensor, while thedirection LEDs are powered by the included ACadapter. Vigilant is the instrument that Maximum was founded upon. It displays wind speedfrom 0-100 MPH and 0-160 km/h, as well as highest (or “Maximum”) gust. High gust is saved with our unique Gust Register, allowing you to monitor the highest gust evenif you’re not present when the wind occurs.Vigilant is self-powered by a rooftop sensor and requires no batteries or other powersource to operate. Sirocco is a self-powered anemometer that registers wind speed up to 100 MPH. Mounted in a mahogany-stained hardwood block and factory calibrated to +/-3% of full scale for accuracy. Merlin records changes, trends and presentconditions. Digital readings are given in fourmodes: ‘Present’ displays existing windconditions; ‘Peak’ gives speed and direction of highest gust since last reset; ‘Average’ reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset; and ‘Forecast’ compares themost recent 12-minute average with theprevious 12 minutes. Rainwatch

Cronus digitally displays time, date and east coast tide. Time is displayed in either12- or 24-hour mode and automatically adjusts for daylight savings. Date is displayedin month/day format. Tide counts down to east coast high or low tide in 1/2-hour increments via 12 clearly visible LEDs. AC powered, with a Lithium battery back-up to maintain time and date during power outages. HarbormasterHarbormaster is an east coast tide clock with patented quartz movement. Technical specifications

Air and Water SensorsAir: 3" overall height; 2" housing diameter. Probe is nickel-plated brass, 1/2" O.D., 1" long. Sensor element is a precision thermistor, a solid state device which changes its resistance inversely proportional with temperature from 150,000 Ohms at low end to 1,500 Ohms at high end. Interchangeability of thermistors is ±0.2°C; time constant 10 seconds. Water: Thermistor specifications identical to Air Sensor.Housing is solid bronze rod, bored to accept thermistor in its very end and potted wiring. 3" long, 3/8" O.D. Water sensor is intended for boats, pools and hot tubs. For any other application, please consult Maximum.

Current RequirementsInstruments requiring power are supplied with outlet-mounted transformers for 120-Volt AC household current.Where power is not available, most instruments are available to run off optional 12VDC power source. European voltages are available as an option.

Gust RegisterMaximum’s Gust Register (above) is a delicateneedle of gold-plated phosphor-bronze, photo etched for precision. Unique to Maestro andVigilant, it is the mechanism by which highest gusts are saved. Minute oscillations are inducedin the meter needle, which then moves the Gust Register by tiny “pile driver” thrusts. Perfectly concentric to the pivot and square to the dial, Gust Register is both an engineering gem and a work of art.
