With assistance from faculty, students will collaborate on a citywide festival featuring the thesis work of students in the program.
PAID OPPORTUNITIES + SCHOLARSHIPS
Apply to work as a Research Assistant or Grad Teaching Assistant. Program funding is awarded to top candidates.
PROGRAM RESOURCES
Through combined studies in documentary production and history, our curriculum prepares students to produce thesis projects that can take the form of narrative or non-narrative fi lms, gallery-based installations, photobooks, performance-based or interactive events, and web or multi-platform documentaries.

Create documentary media from political and cultural points of view
• Completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00/4.33 (B or equivalent) in the last two years of study
• Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be academic
• Portfolio
