WHY HOME PARTIES?Mary Kay Ash understood that not all women were happy to ask for help and advice in the stores. A party at home is such a relaxed way for customers to try the products in the comfort of their own home and share the benefits with their family and friends.

WHAT BEING A MARY KAY CONSULTANT ENTAILS Mary Kay consultants offer appointments in the home.

This can take many forms as you will learn in training. For example, a hostess can invite a group of friends for a fun experience to see and try the Mary Kay products; or she may wish to invite just 2 or 3 friends for a more personalised appointment or have a consultation by herself.

A hostess is rewarded with free product depending on sales at the event.

As a consultant you then place your orders online for delivery direct to yourself, or if you wish, you may carry stock so you can deliver at the appointment.

Consultants earn 30 - 40% on the retail value.

As a consultant you can run your own business and choose when and how much you want to work.

HOW YOU EARNYou earn immediately.

The average party is £150 lasting 2 hours.

1 x party a week, ie 4 per month x £150 = £600 sales per month.You earn £240 for 8 hours’ work.

2 x parties a week, ie 8 per month x £150 = £1200 sales per month.You earn £480 for 16 hours’ work.

PERSONAL WEBSITEFor just £30 p.a. you can have your very own personal website with Mary Kay, so that your customers can order with you at any time, day or night and you still earn!

HOW DO I ADD TO MY KIT?In your first 90 days with Mary Kay you can earn Bonus Products to add to your kit or sell to customers.

DO I HAVE TO HOLD A CERTAIN NUMBER OF APPOINTMENTS?Being a Mary Kay Consultant means you work your business at your pace with no pressure and develop a business that suits you.

DO I HAVE LOTS OF PAPERWORK?No. Ordering is done online 24 hours a day. Other than keeping customer records, the only paperwork is the customer order forms at an appointment.

HOW ABOUT DELIVERY?Normal delivery is 3-5 working days from placing an order.
