June 2009 – August 2009 – User Experience Researcher, Tesco Mobile (London, UK) Worked as a freelancer to manage, research and deliver a fullscale UX research project for senior management, product and design teams at Tesco.com, the third largest retailer in the world. Produced and completed all qualitative, quantitative and academic research around the future needs of shoppers in mobile, online and offline environments. Aligned all data to tell a compelling and digestible research “story” for Tesco’s mobile product development and design team. This research directly informed the development of a mobile application for Tesco.com. October 2007 – June 2009 – Research Fellow, Social Futures Observatory (London, UK) Worked alongside Professor Michael Hulme for a leading UK based academic think tank. Was solely responsible for collating in depth quantitative and qualitative behavioral research across a diverse set of socioeconomic audiences. This research outlined evolutionary trends in user experience and consumer consumption behaviors online and across both fixed and mobile technology devices in four primary ‘spaces’; at home, at work, at social events and in virtual environments. Managed relationships with external research vendors and executed and presented tailored reports to Europes leading technology, broadcast and media brands. Clients included BSkyB, TMobile, Samsung, Sony, Endemol, BBC, Proctor & Gamble, Electronic Arts and JC Decaux.   • Interests World Travel, Exploration & Adventure I have an unrelenting zest for adventure. For the last 5 years Ive travelled across Asia, Oceania, Latin America, North America and Europe to explore the worlds culture, people and lifestyles. And Im not finished yet. Sport, Risk & Adrenaline Sport is an obsession. Every week I run, play soccer, ping pong, golf and frisbee. When Im not on land, I surf, zorb, sky-dive, hand-glide and bungee-jump my way around the globe. Sociology, Design & Technology Technology, sociology and design eat up my reading hours every single day, and when absorbed in unison, offer an unparalleled perspective on why the world we live in tomorrow is the most exciting of all.
