An eligibility list may be created for similar casual, part-time, full-time, and term positions DUTIES As Red River College builds for the future of Manitoba, the Donor Relations Manager will work as part of the Strategic Development Division to sustain and strengthen relationships between the College and its donors. Managing a comprehensive program including acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship, the Donor Relations Manager will execute the Development office's Donor Relations plan, seeking to bolster relationships through both highly personalized interactions and group communications. The Donor Relations Manager will also play key roles in the Annual and Planned Giving portfolios of the College. Specific Duties will include development of agreements, ensuring RRC commitments are fulfilled, management of regular donor communications, strategic event planning and execution, management of regular donor reporting mechanisms, oversight of newsletter production, creative relationship building, participation in the production and distribution of Annual and Planned Giving materials. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Relevant post secondary degree or diploma - equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Experience with face-to-face interactions in building and maintaining long term donor relationships Experience in analysis, goal setting and reporting Demonstrated skill in communicating clearing and concisely including strong presentation skills Experience in planning and executing events to secure and further develop key stake holder relations Experience strategizing and executing on segmented, targeted donor communications Effective organizational skills, with consistent attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Ability to work well within a team while motivated to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of best practices related to donor stewardship Values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment to lifelong learning ASSETS Fundraising-related experience in a post-secondary educational environment Experience using Raiser's Edge database CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends Incumbent must have a valid class 5 driver's license and regular access to a vehicle COMPETITION NUMBER 2019-029 CLOSING DATE February 28, 2019 SALARY $62,451 - $85,449 per annum POSITION LOCATION Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB) POSITION TYPE Full-Time Position Available APPLY BY EMAIL TO [email protected]
