LockDown Third Cycle Competition 4: “Extempore Speech” (Group 3) Rules and Regulations For “Extempore Speech” Competition 1. To become eligible for the Cycle 3 Prize, the contestant should take part in all 5 competitions of Cycle 3. 2. This contest is open to All Members of Group 3. 3. The parents can help the contestant to prepare for this competition. 4. The topic will be given at 07.00 p.m. on May 1, 2020. 5. The topics of this competition will be sent to the contestants through the registered Whatsapp number. It will also be available in our website too. 6. The contestant has to prepare a speech and have to record it before 08.30 p.m. on the same day. 7. The language of this competition shall be ENGLISH. 8. Only one ENTRY shall be allowed for each participant. 9. You are free to refer to any book, consult with any person or surf the internet to prepare the speech. 10. The speech should be delivered without looking on to paper or any other visual media. 11. The criteria of judgment: Appropriateness of the topic, Logical presentation, Number of points discussed, Actions and Overall Presentation. 12. Take a clear Video of the speech and at least 3 feet from the contestant should be visible in the video. 13. The length of the Video should be a maximum of 4 minutes. 14. Name of the Contestant, Class and Group should be clearly mentioned in the introduction of each video. 15. The duration of the Video will be calculated excluding the introduction. 16. No editing should be done to the Video. 17. If any editing to the Video is recognized, the entry will be disqualified. 18. The Video of “Extempore Speech” Competition may be sent to: a. Group 3 : 97894 76412 through Whatsapp. 19. The Video should be uploaded before 08.30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020. 20. Late entries will not be entertained. 21. The decision of the judges will be final and binding all. 22. For any clarification, please feel free to contact, Fr. Principal or your group in-charge teachers.
