These are the photos that Sarah and I gathered for our group, this was done to allow us to see whether the Motorway was the correct location for our setting in

the music video filming session. Each photo will include a description of where we may use this particular area into our music video and why it is a good photo or what could be done to change it and make it better etc. This will then help when it comes

to deciding the location that will best suit our song and lyrics.

These photos show the motorway which we wanted to see whether this would go with our final location – Heaton Park. As we hadn’t done much filming at the stage we were at - Thursday 26th November, Sarah and I decided to have a go at filming the motorway to see if we could gather anything from this. If we don’t use the filming of the motorway we are going to add it to another video or scenes which we filmed but didn’t use.

As we can see from these photos is the lights from the vehicles and the lighting around the area of the motorway. This shows a different way of catching the lighting, as this is the affect that we were trying to gather we had to wait till 4pm – when it goes dark, to be able to film as the lighting was important for this part of filming – if we are going to use it, we needed to show the different colours of lighting.

The filming we have done would be quickened to make the footage seem faster and would slow down when the main traffic lights were on red, to show the slowing of the traffic for the lights.

From the two photos here, they are pretty much the same but we have taken a closer shot on the second one to illustrate the cars and a different angle shot.

Here awe can see up close the cars and as we follow the photo back it becomes blurry and hard to see, this is the sort of thing that we wants as we can switch the blurriness from the back to the front, from the traffic lights to the traffic.

The lighting on here gives a great affect to the photos, as we are unable to see the vehicles at the back but can clearly see the vehicles at the front, making the lights on the vehicles seem blurrier as we follow back to the back of the traffic.

Allows us to see the flow of the traffic and when each light changes.This gives us an outline of when we need to fasten the pace of the video and slow it down to make it accountable of the traffic lights being on red. This helps to show us the exact point in which are needed to ensure that the filming of the pace of traffic is correct, and in sync with the traffic lights.

As the final photo, I have chosen to show this one as it shows a view of both sides of the oncoming traffic to all lanes. Also shows the traffic lights on green and also the red/orange light changing.

Although the photo is a little blurry you can clearly see how the photo is suppose to look and how we would want to represent the traffic.

The lighting consists of the lights of the traffic, traffic lights and the lights lighting up the road. The different lights help to create a feel of warmth from the different colours being used within this photo.
