The Faithful A few weeks ago we celebrated the wonder of His holy birth. Our hearts were brim with gratitude for the matchless life and redeeming ministry of Jesus Christ. No other has influ-enced our lives and offered us greater strength and peace. Thankfully our testimonies are sure that He is indeed the great king, the Living Christ, infinite and atoning, Immanuel, and glorified Son of God. Our hope is in Him for help, healing, immortality and eternal life. We seek ever greater courage as we shoulder the challenges of authentic discipleship and our opportunities to serve in a variety of ways. We are pleased to affirm that we remain head over heels in love forever and enjoy the time we spend with Him. We consider it a tender mercy to be called to serve God and one another. We are challenged but humbly mindful of every gift and power divinely bestowed to place what is far beyond us. We even rejoice to be one another’s companion when visiting the needy and sick. This sweet, wonderful season brings welcome thoughts, sin-cere hopes for your health, happiness and prosperity. Cher-ish memories of past associations and never be satisfied yearning for God’s involvement in your life. What a remark-able blessing you have been to those around you and strangers lives you have touched. As we’ve started this New Year, we joyfully place ourselves in his hands who not only provides and points the way, but who is the way, the truth and the life. God Bless, Deacon Stan
