India's Export and Import in the year 2001-02 was to the extent of32,572 and 38,362 million respectively.
Many Indian companies have started becoming respectableplayers in the International scene. Agriculture exports account forabout 13 to 18% of total annual of annual export of the country.
In 2000-01 Agricultural products valued at more than US $6million were exported from the country 23% of which wascontributed by the marine products alone.
Marine products in recent years have emerged as the singlelargest contributor to the total agricultural export from thecountry accounting for over one fifth of the total agriculturalexports.
Cereals (mostly basmati rice and non-basmati rice), oil seeds, teaand coffee are the other prominent products each of which
accounts fro nearly 5 to 10% of the countries total agriculturalexports.

Even though Israeli defense exports are expected to fall by 10%for 08, Israel still ranks in the top 10 of global defenseexporters. Depending on which list you go by, Israel is either in4th or 8th place.Not bad for a small little country.
According to figures released by the US CongressionalResearch Service, Israel was the seventh largest arms exporterduring the period 2000-2007 with sales worth an aggregate$10.8 billion. Defense News reports that Israels defensecompanies signed contracts worth $5.6 billion in 2007 - an
all-time high for the countrys defense exports. According tothe Ministry of Defense SIBAT - Foreign Defense Assistanceand Defense Export Organization, and the ministrysArmaments R&D Administration, last years sales were $700million greater than the $4.87 billion in 2006, the previous
record.

Israel in fourth place behind Russia, Franceand the US.
