Set induction(5 minutes)Activity:Matching pictures of titles.

Malaysian legends:1. The Legend of Bujang Senang (Sarawak)2. The Legend of Chini Lake (Pahang)3. The Legend of Cik Siti Wan Kembang (Kelantan)1. Teacher shows three picture and three title of legends on cards.2. Teacher calls pupils to match the picture with the title.3. Teacher pastes a map of Malaysia on the board.4. Teacher states the origin of the legends.5. Teacher asks pupils to shade the state of Kelantan on the map.6. Teacher explains that pupils are going to read text about Cik Siti Wan Kembang a legend from Kelantan.Teaching aids :Pictures, titles cards and map of Malaysia

Rationale :To arouse pupils motivation and to lead them towards the topic of the lesson.

Presentation(15 minutes)Activity:Reading the reading text of the Legend of Cik Siti Wan Kembang.

Teacher divides pupils into two groups.3. Teacher mentions that pupils are going to play Tic-tac-tow Vocabulary.4. Teacher asks one person from each group to play rock-paper-scissor and the winning group get to choose their symbol X or O and choose a number first.5. Teacher shows the word and pupils must take the word card and paste it besides its correct meaning to mark the number on the Tic-tac-toe board.6. Teacher distributes a mahjong paper in each group.4. Teacher asks one pupil to stay in the group while three others find and locate coloured cards that they need to find according to their groups number.5. Teacher reminds pupils to be co-operative and work as a team.6. Teacher asks pupils to sequence and write their story by using the I-think flowmap on the mahjong paper.7. Teacher asks each group to present their story to the class.Educational emphasis:Multiple Intelligence
