Reading Curriculum Writer Laura Smith Laura Smith is a Reading Curriculum Writer at Schoolwide, Inc. Laura has worked as an educator since 2007. She has worked as an English Language Arts and Reading teacher for grades 9–12 and a Reading Specialist for grades 6–8. Laura has worked as a school district curriculum writer since 2010. She has worked as a curriculum writer for Schoolwide since 2012. In 2010, Laura won the local Radio Shack Teacher of the Year Award. She has presented numerous professional development workshops for the school districts and schools in which she has worked. Laura graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2007 with a degree in Secondary Education. In 2011, she earned a Master’s degree in Literacy Curriculum & Instruction from The University of Texas at Arlington. Laura chose to become an educator in order to spread her love of reading to students. She enjoys working with students of all ages. Laura SmithLaura Smith is a Reading Curriculum Writer at Schoolwide, Inc. Laura hasworked as an educator since 2007. She has worked as an EnglishLanguage Arts and Reading teacher for grades 9–12 and a ReadingSpecialist for grades 6–8. Laura has worked as a school district curriculumwriter since 2010. She has worked as a curriculum writer for Schoolwidesince 2012.
