      • To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to provide my strongest support for Laura Smith. I have known Laura Smith for approximately one year, as she was a student in a class that I instructed during 2010 (Learning Theories in Psychology, Capella University). Laura was an exemplary student that demonstrated a strong command of learning theory and a scholarly writing style. Lauras background in education combined with her strong interest in educational research will provide a great foundation to pursue a career in this field. In all my interactions with Laura Smith, I have been impressed by her drive and work ethic. June 30, 2011

      • This letter is for Ms. Laura Smith. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Smith in my Integrative Project course during the Spring quarter of 2011. Laura clearly demonstrated her academic ability and professionalism throughout this course.
      • Throughout the course Laura actively participated with her fellow classmates. She always found ways to provide professional and helpful feedback to other learners. The Integrative Project course has a requirement for the students to develop a research proposal as their final project. Its a rather large assignment and is considered the capstone for the masters degree program. Laura not only met the requirement she exceeded the basic requirements by theorizing a model with numerous variables and also designed a study to test the model. Her paper included a well developed and thorough literature review and well developed support (synthesized literature) for her argument. Her final paper demonstrated her ability to both think and write like a scholar.
      • In sum, the work I observed from Ms. Smith was always professional, courteous, well developed and well done . July 13, 2011
