Managing Director and Portfolio Manager

He has an overall 22 years of experience in the Indian Capital Market.

He was the Head of India operations at Lloyd George Management (LGM) for 10 years and an advisor to all LGM Indian offshore funds.

Before LGM, Ashit had worked as a Portfolio Manager at Alliance Capital India and managed India based funds for 3 years.

He was the joint head of research at ASK Raymond James and senior analyst at BNP Paribas & IIT InvesTrust Pvt. Ltd.

He holds a post-graduate management degree specializing in finance and has graduated in chemical engineering from Mumbai University.

Mr. Robert Lloyd George was educated at Oxford University and began his investment career in London in 1974.  After working in the Paris Stock Exchange and in banking in Brazil, he joined the Fiduciary Trust Company of New York to work on international investments for the UN Pension Fund.  Robert was the Managing Director of Indosuez Asia Investment Services in Hong Kong from 1984, before founding Lloyd George Management in 1991.  He has published four books including ‘The East West Pendulum’. Robert also advises a number of external funds, including the Eton College endowment and the IMF retirement plan. Currently, he is the Chairman and CIO of Lloyd George Advisory.
