Las reglas para los colores son: Colors are adjectives that describe a noun; thus

they follow the general rules of adjectives: the adjective will follow the noun; it must match in gender and number relative to the noun: una camisa blanca; unas camisas blancas (concordancia).

If a color ends in -o- you may change its ending to -a- for feminine singular nouns; neutral color endings are: azul, verde y gris (these will not change with the gender of the noun. Ej: un vestido azul; una camisa verde; un gato gris…)

# Los numeros # Cien (100) is used to express the number 100 as well as

numbers greater than 100; ej: cien mil; cien millones… Ciento is used with numbers from 1-99; 101-199; 201-299;

A period and comma are switched in Spanish: ej: 2.483,90=2,483.90

The word millón is followed by de when describing something. Ej: cuatro millones de habitantes
